Once again Kingsmead is celebrating very good GCSE results. The headline figure of Grade 5+ and Grade 4+ in both English and Mathematics are 47% and 69% respectively – these are the best passes we have ever attained! We are pleased that our percentage of students achieving the EBacc suite of academic qualifications has remained broadly in line with previous years. Initial estimates suggest that the progress made by students is good.
Headteacher Mark Williams said “This is a very pleasing set of results for Kingsmead students. This year group have overcome adversity in the return to normal examinations following two years of Covid-related interruptions. This success is down to the support of our teachers, non-teaching staff, parents/carers, and of course the hard work and determination of our students”.
