Art
Welcome to the Kingsmead School Art Department.
The art curriculum is designed to offer continuity and progression through KS3 to KS4.
The curriculum at KS3 is built around the need to build confidence with a range of key skills whilst developing a basic visual language.
The curriculum at KS4 builds on the skills developed and provides the opportunity for students to explore their world and relationship to it in a personal way. The course develops the student’s ability to work independently developing themes such as ‘Self-Portrait’.
